The 7th was our anniversary, took it real easy, no stress. Saw Nine; horrible movie. H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Period. My outfit was fairly comfortable since we were doing the public transportation trip which is amazing. I'm obsessed with it. I don't know why but it's so much easier than driving and trying to find parking, worrying about getting tickets and stressing about traffic. Love it. Although I do get the stares on the bus, who cares. I'm used to it by now. Hey, I'm unusual, I'm wearing garters, OUTSIDE, I know, relax. lol. I even worn my hair done which is a rare, rare occurrence considering I HATE MY HAIR…down.  I'll hopefully be getting my hair cut soon so this will all change…although the reason for my hair being one length is I'm growing it out. I don't want any layers because then cutting causes me to lose length, long story, blah, blah. Ultimately I'll have my hairstyle I've been wanting in about a year so look forward to many posts with the bun. :)

The theatre we were in was gorgeous. I mean, so stunning. It had to of been built in the 40's. The architecture and interiors had the 40's feel. Unfortunately the staff wasn't well-trained on the knowledge of the building. They all just said, "Uhh, it's really really old." Wow, thanks. That's the reason for my LOD pictures inside the theatre. I was trying to capture this beautiful screening room but unfortunately my BF hasn't captured the ways of taking photos yet. He will sooner than later. ;)

Anyways, lots coming up in the next few months. So excited for 2010! Thanks again everyone for all your sweet and VERY INFORMATIVE comments. It's so good to hear from the people who read my blog. p.s. I'm considering this for a tattoo except I have a baby-sized phrase I want in the middle. Like, real, real small. You'd only be able to read it if your really close up, like damn near against my back. Any thoughts?

got this amazing Alpaca poncho handed down to me this Christmas, from my step-mom’s late mother. I never met her but she must of been an amazing woman because this poncho is “FAR-OUT”. I swear I’ve seen a picture of her wearing this but my step-mom doesn’t think so. Hmmm, will definitely have to hunt down. I wanted to make the poncho more modern so I paired it with an edgier shoe and a dressier, polished pant. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure I’m allergic to Alpaca  because I couldn’t stop sneezing all day so it came off come mid-day. Or…it could be the fact that it’s been sitting in a closet for quite a while. I hope I have a daughter who will appreciate style before I did at my age. I want to be able to pass this down to her.

Sorry for the short post. I’m exhausted and tomorrow is the BF & I’s 4 year anniversary so I’m getting rest for our big day tomorrow.

AND…this is when a car “came out of nowhere” and me running away. See the eyes, ya I was scared.

The boyfriend and I headed into the city to unveil Ike’s to our flavor palettes. I got the “Not Tonight, I Have a Headache
Halal Chicken Breast, Bacon, BBQ, Smoked Gouda” and my boyfriend got “M.I.L.F.
Halal Chicken Breast, Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers, Franks Red Hot Sauce, Ranch” except he traded the jalapeno poppers for the mozzarella sticks. There wasn’t a long line, thankfully, and Bart was speedy…however, while the food and flavor combinations were delightful, we were both sick by the time we got home. Go figure.

Walking home, the BF & I were obsessed with this pothole-ish steam, for whatever reason. We both thought out loud, simultaneously, “outfit location”. LOL. The following photos are pure us.

Now, for the pictures from the bloggers dinner. Unfortunately, I didn’t break out my camera so all these photos come from the other ladies’ blogs including Liz, Jennie, & Aimee<3. It was a wonderful dinner with the ladies (Aimee, Erin, Jennie, & Liz and gentlemen. It was great to see everyone mingling together.

It's a new year, 2010. Yes, everyone in the blogosphere is talking about it but it is SO EXCITING! Not only is it a new year but it's a new decade! For my group of friends and I, we'll be in our 30's at the end of this decade. So crazy and strange and a little nerve-wrecking nonetheless, I'm excited.

Had lunch with one of my best friends at this skewer place. The food was delicious, the weather was amazing and the company was even better. We barely get to catch up because of our conflicting schedules and the fact that I don't live close by anymore, but it's always good to get grounded by the ones that know you best.

I wore a faux fur coat my grandpa had given me. Whenever we goes gambling, he always comes back with bunches of coats and luckily, I'm around to swipe them :)

the puppies pretty much summed up NYE 2010. It was very relaxing; played a hardcore game of Monopoly: Here & Now, drank Apple Cran Martinelli's and watched the ball drop.
