So, we’re all headed to the IFB Evolving Influence Conference, right? Are you wondering what to bring to the conference? I was thinking the same thing. So, below is a little list of the things you should bring with you to the Hudson Hotel!

Your laptop-Live streaming is so imperative to being active on the IFB stream. People are going to want to know what’s going on at the conference since they can’t attend. I also like seeing what other people are saying in the same place I am. It’s interesting to see others views of what’s going on.

Your iPhone/Smart Phone/iPad-It’s the best way to have accessibility at all times. You can update your twitter, twitpic something funny to post, and stay connected to all the bloggers you’ll be meeting (exchange numbers and all!).

Your camera-This is so vital to all the posts you’ll be creating. People want to know what everyone is wearing, what the venue looks like, all that great stuff. Having your camera handy, whether it be a DSLR or point and shoot, could separate a good post from a not so good post.

Your business cards-I’ve gone so many places where I’ve forgot my cards and completely regretted it the moment someone asked me for one. This is key, if not, the most important thing. You’re here to learn and network people! So bring out those bad boys and pass them out like candy!

Layers-The venue is air-conditioned so I would suggest bringing a cardigan or something to layer up with. Also, since the conference turns into the party right after, dress in a day to night look :)

Snacks-There will be food & drinks so don’t worry about that. However, if you are a snacker like me, pack a bag of trail mix just in case you need a quick snack!

You might of seen Mr. Kate on the likes of Geri from Because I’m Addicted and Cat from KnightCat. I sit among those wonderful ladies. Ali & Kate, from Mr. Kate, sent me this gorgeous bark ring that I can’t get enough of. It’s perfect in size, lightweight and totally badass. I was completely drawn to this line starting from the awesome logo. I mean, a mustache…WITH A MOLE?! I mean, have you seen my face? I have two fatties sittin on there with a bunch of other baby-size ones. I was drawn to the moles. Then, I discovered the mass aray of goodies on the site. I was obsessed with everything. They have this awesome body chain that is a must. They also have the same detailing but in a headpiece and you all already know how I am with my headpieces..DYING.

So, if you haven’t checked out this lovely jewelry line already, do so now! I’ll wait… :)

I’ve officially moved servers and hosts! I’m now using WP.org and I’m loving it. However, I never realized how complicated the process is. I’m not superb with coding or editing style sheets. So far, I haven’t figured out how to edit the links above (Archives & About), all my images were lost in the move so if you go back far enough, you’ll notice photos are gone unfortunately (Typepad owned the rights to my photos), and I’m still working on getting my blogroll up as well as some fun extras. Although this move was great for the blog, I lost over 2300 followers. I’m so very thankful to have Jennine able to take my photos for my LOD posts. Luckily for me, I’m able to show you guys my style still with high-quality images. It’s about effing time.

Anyhow, can’t you tell I’m so ready for fall to be here already? I’m breaking out the wool and everything. Don’t mind the wrinkles…yes, unfortunately these gorgeous little trousers are a pain if you sit in them all day. They wrinkle up so quickly so just pretend you don’t see those hideous lines. Seriously though, I’m in the bay area. It’s not like we have extreme hot and cold-Thank God. I couldn’t survive in a place like Iceland or HOT-lanta…haha. But it looks like I’ll be heading into harsher climate-I’m going to New York City in one week. One freaking week and I can’t wait. Not only will the IFB conference be so amazing but all the shows we’re going to are going to be fantastic. I also can’t wait to meet all these great bloggers coming in from all over the world. It’s going to be intense! If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, you better hurry up!
