Happy Fourth of July!
What am I doing on this wonderful day? Well, working then headed to my neighborhood boardwalk with some of my girlfriends to drink beer and watch the fireworks. It’s nostalgic really- of home with my girlfriends in our hometown. I wish so badly to be with them and my family right now for some good time summer memories. BUT I’m going home on THURSDAY! I can’t wait- a girlfriend of mine is getting married and all the best friends will be reunited. It’s going to be something I desperately need- my friends, my family and being around comfort. But don’t we all need that sometimes?

P.S. Yes, I know I gripe about bloggers who post a million photos in a blog post and here I am doing it BUT I can’t help it- these are my favorite from Lydia. And this dress, I mean.
You know those nights where going on a date, by yourself, sounds more appealing than having company?
That’s exactly what I did this weekend. I just needed time to myself so what better way to do that than to get dressed up and head out, all on my own. There’s something so peaceful about being in your own thoughts, wallowing in your current destiny with your own choices. I can tell you this- it was much needed. You should try taking time to yourself. I think it’s so necessary, man or woman.
My suggestion to you is take a day, an hour, a moment just for yourself. Take that time to think about YOU. It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. xx

Yes, that’s right. I did it again, aren’t you proud? Another round of commenting on your comments- this is becoming one of my favorite things to do. I’ve got to admit- holding down a full-time job while blogging full-time and working on new ventures AND semi-trying to maintain some sort of social life is super tricky. I used to have time to comment on every single one of your comments and haven’t done that in so long. I’m really happy to have this back though, as a way of thanking you cool kids. The comments constantly keep me laughing and I love every single one- even the not-so-funny ones.

Oh, you ex-boyfriends are so sweet aren’t you? With your “I’m sorry” bouquets and your “Forgive me” dinners. Silly boys, those won’t ever work on little ol’ me. Ha.
I tricked you silly kids. There’s no bouquet & no dinner and definitely no ex-boyfriend. I’m just talking about my pants. Doesn’t it look like a cheap, fun bodega bouquet your ex-man found to give you to say I’m sorry? Well, that’s what I think when I wear them. Cheeky, cheesy and typical. Don’t you think?
To top it all off, why not add metallic heels for spice and a matching coral clutch? Clearly, all these things come together in just the cutest little saucy number. Sarcasm. But really, this bag is pretty much amazing. Foley + Corinna have quickly become my new favorite. I remember coveting these bags after I saw them in Lucky when I was in high school. But back then, this girl couldn’t ever imagine she’d have one. Well sister girl has a couple and then some. Pretty happy about it, frankly. You can’t top a sale. This bad boy, in this color is under $300 but there’s darker colors for less! Check more out below.
