I turn 25 on Sunday. I’m panicking so it’s time to bring my ‘high school’ wardrobe back.
Hey girl hey, your shorts are short. Tell me about it.
These shorts were a revamp with added ass fringe from Decades Past. If you don’t know what Decades Past is, well shame on you. Clickity click if you want to know. Oh, and this shirt. I bought this the moment I broke up with my ex (two years ago) and I’ve yet to let it go. I find it hysterical, superbly relevant and probably one of my favorite tees I own. I mean c’mon, SO. TRUE.
The boots are probably the best part of this outfit. Why? Well, it calms down the ‘spread eagle at a moment’s notice‘ look. Adding a heel of any height beyond an inch and we’re borderline streetwalker. But hey, to each its’ own right?

P.S. I’m really sad to say my hair no longer looks like this anymore. Obviously I’m bitter about it… but there’s nothing a bun won’t fix. Countdown to hair growth.
WAIT! BTW guys!
My dear friend, Augusto (the one who made my floral crown) is hosting his blog launch, ModaEclectic and his art pieces tomorrow night at 7PM, on Staten Island. I know, I know but I promise you, it’s worth the trip. I really hope you can make it if you’re in the NYC area. Not only would it mean the world to me but it would be so great for him to have the support of my readers. Check out the invite here and RSVP! Check out his blog and support my love bug! Below is just a sampling. Trust me, it gets even better.

I’m so excited to share this with you!

If you follow me on any of my outrageous social media mediums, you’ll know my dad, step-mom and brother came into town from California to visit. I got to play tourist for the week and I had so much fun. It was nice seeing New York through their eyes and indeed, I fell in love with New York once again.
Enjoy my trip via Instagram- my lifesaver sans camera.

This is what I call my
high-end hip hop girl. If you missed
last week’s hip hop reinvention, I created the girl who kicks it, who chills, more daywear. This girl goes out, drinks drinks, gets fancy and pulls the fellas. She rocks mega neon, plays with texture like paint splatters and dresses up for her, no one else. AY KAY AY my dream girl inspiration. I literally just cultivated my dream closet- loving every single piece on here but could I ever really afford it? Well, shoot. Maybe but likely not. However, I’m super inspired by these pieces and definitely venturing out to find similar pieces.
Last week, you guys gave me great inspiration for girls who look like what I’m after. Most of you named Rihanna and Cassie- totes agree. Bad. Ass. Ladies. Would you rock this look?
