Good day to my little shining cupcake faces. I just want to brighten your ugly day by smothering you with FLORALS!

Every time I hear “florals”, I think of that quote from Devil Wears Prada, “Florals? For spring? Ground breaking.” It just slays my soul because people really think florals are new. Hmmm.

Anyhow little muffins, this dress. Oh, this fancy little dress is my new favorite. It’s been a lucky date dress, an “I’m cute, let me go to the farmer’s market” dress and definitely a “Let me stroll the block, walking my dog because I’m so adorable” dress. I think what makes this dress so great is the pleats that gradient down to chiffon nothingness. It’s just absolutely perfect. But don’t fret, this bad boy is coming with me through fall. I feel like the flowers are mute enough to pass for fall colors like burgundy and hunter green- paired with a heavy wool blazer, a wide-brimmed hat and boots with make this dress fall-perfection.

    I completely agree that the dress can be taken into fall. The colors aren’t super bright so it would definitely work. Florals in the fall are so pretty to me. Great post!

    This dress is adorable, and it can definitely transition to fall and winter. I would layer a chambray shirt and then a chunky knit over it.
