You know those nights where going on a date, by yourself, sounds more appealing than having company?

That’s exactly what I did this weekend. I just needed time to myself so what better way to do that than to get dressed up and head out, all on my own. There’s something so peaceful about being in your own thoughts, wallowing in your current destiny with your own choices. I can tell you this- it was much needed. You should try taking time to yourself. I think it’s so necessary, man or woman.

My suggestion to you is take a day, an hour, a moment just for yourself. Take that time to think about YOU. It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. xx

    Girl I’m always taking time out for myself cuz I’m a got damned hermit! I live in frickin Vermont so I have no choice. I do like the time I get to myself from time to time but then I’m left to my own devices and cause trouble. So DAYUMN… that clutch. I wouldn’t mind a c/o like THAT from time to time!

    I’m a big fan of taking time to myself.  I like getting dressed up and cruising around town in my car going wherever I feel like it.  It’s so important to do that from time to time especially when your married and even more so when you’re about to be a mom (like me!).  I know my mini me is going to be tied to my hip for a hot minute so I’m taking all the me time I can!

    That is exactly why I love shopping alone. Sounds depressing but I love having the time solely to myself to think or not think, which is even better.
