I’ve tried researching who conducted this amazing piece of work with such a strong, deep message but I’ve yet to come up with an artist or a vision. Does anyone know this? It was in SoHo near Canal and W. Broadway. At first, I thought the war kids was a Banksy but I don’t think so anymore. I’d love to figure out who did this!

Besides all that, take a close look at each of these photos. Isn’t it amazing? Can you understand the message it’s trying to tell?

It might likely be Shepard Fairey – the first one anyway, that says OBEY. He’s the artist behind that brand. His work is really good! Unless someone just put his sticker there and it wasn’t really him but it looks like it could be!

Lol that would be terrible if someone just slapped his sticker on someone else’s work lol. Then again, whattevvvaaa.

The first one definitely looks like a Banksy, but I don’t think it is, and the obey graffiti under it would suggest the artist was Shepard Fairey, but it looks nothing like his work, so I’m out of ideas. I love all of the street art in NYC, and I like that there are groups looking to preserve it. Have you ever been to 5Pointz in Long Island City? It’s a building completely covered in “sanctioned” graffiti, but it’s beautiful!

Hmmm, that’s what Kristine said. Now, I must investigate. I really want to know who did all of it. Find out where more of this person’s work is!

When you find out, let me know! I’m a closet street artist groupie.

It is Shepard Fairey; I work right around the corner from that building and Fairey had a show there last summer, the post never came down :)…my work hood is so fun.
