Layering is a necessity for me, if you haven’t noticed. If haven’t been following along, you should be.

When I tell you that Jay is a genius, he truly is. He makes me feel so good and comfortable in front of the camera.

So, you’re probably trying to remember what I’ve removed thus far, no? Look in the background of each photo. You notice the clothing pieces draped gently over the brush. Each piece involves texture and prints. Getting it now?

For MBFW, I’d really love to get together with all these fabulous bloggers besides the IFB conference and the Lucky Mag FABB conference. I’m trying to figure out what venue we could all arrange to meet at because they are so many of you and it would be great to all meet each other at one place to drink and babble. Who’s down?     A) I’m still obsessed with the barely noticeable pattern mixing.
    B) It’s always great when a photographer makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, especially when you’re normally an awkward mess in front of the camera, like me. One thing that does bug me is when photogs excessively say, “Beautiful!”, “Perfect!”, and the like. It starts to feel disingenuous.
    C) You know I’m down to meet up outside of IFBcon, which I’m going to. Get excited!

    You’re totally lucky you have someone like that, my boyfriend and most any of the professional photographers I know make me feel super nervous in front of the camera because I’m shy. I’m probably going to buy a wireless remote this week.

Ya, I was nervous the first time I shot with Jay but after that, I loosened up. I realized that it’s so much better to be relaxed because the photos will tell the truth lol.
