The ladies and I stepped out on the town to attend a speckle of events going on in the city. Not only Sam, Liz’s boyfriend, get in his first art show, but there was a lovely blogger gathering at Aventine in the Financial District. Thanks to Taylor, Alicia, Caitlin and Katie, I was introduced to bloggers I’ve never met (Lindsey & Margot) , saw great friends I haven’t seen in ages (Laura, Katie & Natalie)  and reconnected with lovely faces (Gigi). Thanks so, so much to Michelle of Fvncy, for taking me to the event! You are a doll!

I wish you all could of seen the back of this dress. It was my favorite part about it, a true thrifted find. I got it for $4 or so, worn it backwards and died for the shoulder pads. I mean really, can we talk about current? You’re also probably wondering about those dashing “Urkel meets Clark Kent” spectacles adorning my eyes. Well, as you all know, I’m going without makeup for a month. A blogger meetup was no exception. My compromise is wearing these awesome glasses so I don’t feel completely bare. I’m actually falling in love with the “Urkel meets Clark Kent” look and plan on bringing this to NYFW. What do you guys think? Is it a YAY! or a NAY…

Afterward, Michelle and I dined at the classiest joint around town.. In n’ Out! We grubbed hard considering we hadn’t eaten all day and as you can see, it was delicious!

      And yes, I think it’s going to stay. I’m a little bit obessed to the point I think their real glasses and I’ve been wearing them on my head when I get stressed (you know, that whole motion..push them on your head, rub your forehead, whince, then put them back on..haha) and I’ve been putting them on immediately when I wake up! Straannggeee. But glad you love! Oh and I’m sure that you look stunning without makeup you crazy girl!

      HAHA! Yes ma’m. I’ve been doing it since the 1st and it’s been so relieving. My skin has broken out terribly and I want to find a resolution as to why. I’m hoping it’s because of my makeup and skin routine. So I switched up my skin routine and no makeup. Let’s pray this works!

      Haha, it was by far the most delicious burger and animal fries I’d eaten…so tasty. But that’s probably because I hadn’t eaten in so long lol!

    WAIT… What did the back look like? You can’t just tease us and then not divulge. As Sarah from StyleIT always says, “Pics or it didn’t happen!” It’s a great color none the less, and those photos from In and Out burger make me want the weekend so badly (I obviously associate late nights and fried food with nights out with my guy friends who buy me beer and cheese fries).

      GIRL!! My skin is terrible. It’s been breaking out worse so I heard that it gets worse before it gets better so I’m praying for a miracle here…before FW too..YIKES!
