Quick little post- I wore this to a designer preview in San Francisco. It was cold and I had a major wardrobe malfunction.

Miss Michelle of Fvncy, definitely saw my goodies thanks to my hips pushing my slip up to my waist. Oh, and did I mention I was walking around Market for a good 10 minutes, like that?

      It is such a beautiful skirt and the cheapest but I’ve got to find a way to sew the slip to the actual skirt. Grrrrr. I’m glad you liked the leather + lace look :)

    hahha OMG! it reminds me of when i was wearing a puffy skirt and the wind came and lift it up, the wind was so strong I was unable to keep it down so i def displayed my goodies for at least 3min! its ok, im sure the ppl who saw you, did not mind at all! ;) LOVE your outfit, black lace is so hot!

    Oh god! I’ve been lagging so much on comments. I’m obsessed with lace pencil skirts, but I never thought of the dangers associated with actually having hips. THere goes my dream of looking like Christina Hendricks (girl’s got a killer body!). Maybe I’ll just wear my cutest undies when wearing a lace pencil skirt. I seriously only thought baring my goodies could happen in circle skirts because it’s happened to me enough—thank you, Wind. I once accidentally flashed two guys at school because of a short circle skirt and a over-friendly gust of wind. I had a mind to charge them for the peep.

      Haha, that’s exactly why I stopped purchasing circle skirts. It was just complete failure every time something fell that I needed to pick up or the wind became a battle. Good thing you charged them ahahhha. There’s no such thing as a free show! ;)

    Oh no! I have had a fear of something similar to this happening to me in public. Especially after what I witnessed at a recent wedding. I was there with a group of friends, one of whom was an older woman (a cool art professor). We were standing around talking and her skirt just fell straight to the ground. In front of everyone. It took everyone a few seconds to react, but when we recovered from the shock of seeing her skirt fall, we scrambled to pull it up. It turns out she had failed to secure the eyehook at the top. We were laughing so hard, but I got the feeling that if it could happen to her, it could happen to me too.

    Note to self: skirts in public are problematic when not secured correctly.
