Style isn’t sacred if you don’t come up with your own. Everyone is so generic these days; no one seems to really be genuine except for the select few. Create your own style, grab inspiration, but don’t take an entire look and call it your own. The last thing we need is another copy-cat Rumi, Karla or just another wanna-be hipster.

I couldn't wait for Spring, I just had to break out one of my new pieces. This has got to be one of my most cherished pieces yet. The shape is my favorite; I love the slouch it creates on my body. Although for Spring, I have a completely different and new way to wear it but you'll see come April/May. I'm so excited to start wearing it that way too.

For this look, it's best achieved when the rest of your silhouette isn't as voluminous. Hence the tights. I wore my stuffed animal coat because it was freezing in the city and I layered my knee-highs with my tights but it's cool. Also, I opted for a more chunky shoe to balance out the look. I think it looks fantastic…and I'm definitely not a color person. P.S. I scored this at Static on Haight in SF for like $5…got to love a good vintage find.

I'm obsessed with my boyfriend's wardrobe…purely because I've picked out mostly everything (specifically because I know I'll be able to wear it lol). But this pretty little piece was done on his own. I'm obsessed with it, 100%. I love the color and it's a thermal which matches this ridiculously cold weather. The bagginess is my favorite part, seriously. It slouches perfectly; unfortunately it wasn't long enough for me to wear as a dress but I made do.

This lovely place is gorgeous. I was so amazed by these trees and the light that came through them. There's also a little creek right next to it which makes for such a soothing sound. I even loved the graffiti which scared the hell out of my photographer (alexia) and I to death but hey, got to risk to get nice photos lol. I'm posting the giveaway tonight so stay tuned. My bangs are finally back. It's been since October/November 2009 since I've had these babies around. My BFF, who just graduated from cosmo school back in December, cut me some fresh ones on Thursday. Whoo. Yet, my hair is still going continuing on with the bun. I tried keeping my hair down this day and it wasn't working for me…so the bun is staying put.

Let me just say that I can't wait for FUCKING Spring. My wardrobe is molding into Spring transitionals and I've already got my looks ready…now it's a waiting game to showcase them. Although I can't get enough of my furs, faux and real. They really seem to spruce up any look. As you can see, I'm obsessed with these lace bike shorts I DIY'ed way back this summer but it looks great peeking out from my dress. I love that it looks almost baggy. Obsessions with lace and high-class call girls will transfer into Spring..lol. Sorry though, about the non-inspirational outfits. I'm telling you, Spring is ready for me and I for him. So until then, I feel it's going to be what it has been: black, fur & grey…YESSS.
