Just kidding. I was shooting the other day and for whatever reason, I decided to "theme" my outfit post by choosing to "move out". If you've ever heard that song by Chrisette Michelle called Epiphany, then you'll understand this random theme. Since the BF moved in on Saturday, I thought it'd be hilariously appropriate to say that I was "moving out" (hence, the moving boxes and me taking along the mirror ;).

leather jacket; Express | baggy racerback; LF | laced bralette; Forever 21 | tights; Express | scarf worn as bracelet; I have no clue where I got this. VERY VERY OLD | TICK wedges; Jeffrey Campbell | cross; Forever 21 | bib necklace; Forever 21

I felt like Guns n' Roses that day, seriously. Or a little bit Aerosmith, with my bracelet being a scarf. It reminded me of old school rock with the tough shoes and rock-n-roll scarf.

Those wedges are pretty dope, actually. I got them last year at LF and it's a Jeffrey Campbell & LF make created with actual tacks into the wedge portion of the shoe. It's definitely what sold me.

So far, living with the BF has been pretty killer. Although it's only been, hmm, a full two days, it's nice to come home to someone and eat dinner with someone. It's definitely a plus that he's a neat freak like I am so naturally, our apartment has stayed pretty clean. The massive SUIT collection this man has, however, is extensive and I think we need to narrow it down…yes, definitely narrow it down. :)

Til next time,

xx.

Instead of the norm, posting photos of looks and such, I decided that it would be more exciting to show you my kind of Thanksgiving, without faces. When I come back home, it's a comforting feeling; everything is familiar and as dysfunctional, awkward and unprepared this family is; it's my familiar, my family.

Some are funny like the random carpet in the kitchen or the miscellaneous sodas (like, who really drinks diet ginger ale..anyone?)

Some are meaningful like the old photographs and Christmas decorations

and…some are just darn cute like the most adorable puppies in the world.

enjoy.

xx.

Vintage Plaid; Furst of a Kind | Dye-Cut Fringe Dress; H&M | Baggy racer-back; Emma & Sam | black opaque tights; Target | red back seam thigh highs; Fredericks of Hollywood | Cropped leather moto jacket; Express | Caged Wedges; Jeffrey Campbell & LF | random jewelry; EVERYWHERREEE | Etched Leather Bag; Monserat De Lucca | black beanie; Wet Seal

The blogger meetup was so much fun! The turn-out was amazing and it was great to see new faces as well as the familiar. It's nice to be around people who not only understand your passion for fashion but also who understands blogging. We're definitely not "social cripples"; more like people who enjoy writing about our lives and posting style for the world to see. It's merely an outlet since most of us don't have friends or family who can actually relate to us in this instance. Being around these lovely ladies is absolutely refreshing; hearing ideas, thoughts and funny stories all make for a enjoyable time at the SFMOMA.

Also, please check my bangs…really, they are way too long and I soooo didn't notice. I figured if I could see, I was fine. Apparently not. My bangs basically created some odd looking visor of sorts with my beanie…awesome. :)

cuz i don't. :)

-update- let me rephrase this. i couldn't decide whether I wanted to censor myself, be careful what I said, or what I wrote about, and then I realized it doesn't matter because I don't care. You'll either like what I have to say or not. But wouldn't you agree that it's much better to have someone real behind this computer screen than someone just posting their outfit? I promise, I'm not just some, as someone said today, a fashion robot. I do have much more underneath this exterior.

Finally made it to the Academy of Science's Nightlife event with Alexia. It was just as I remembered when I was a child, hella fascinated with the "zoo exhibit". I couldn't get over how real the settings were as well as how life-like they were. Now, it was just the same except with hot ass beats from the multiple DJ's and the drinks. Unfortunately, Alexia and I missed the Planetarium & Rain forest exhibits. I didn't know we had to have tickets to get into the Planetarium portion; poor planning, I tell ya. We did make it into the Aquarium portion and I was so fascinated with all the marine life. I'm a nerd like that though; I'm easily amused…"oh what, upside-down jellyfish? How awesome!". Yeah, I know.

Thrifted velvet blazer; BCBG | ruffled grey and black blouse; Alice Temperley for Target | black deep v-neck; Silence & Noise | black jeggings; Riki | lace-up wedges; Dolce Vita | necklaces, bracelets & rings; misc from everywhere, seriously

I love the courtyard/garden outside of the Academy of Science. It's so gorgeous and brings back so many memories of myself and my sibs way back when. Alexia and I did a huge "shoot" out in the courtyard but she has ALLLLL the photos so those will be postponed for later. For now, enjoy the misc I took from my own…before it died. |side glance|

don't mind this one, she's just rather slow. ;) Actually, she's exactly like me in the sense that we're hella crazy and don't really give a fuhhhh.

Went to the bay area fashion blogger meet up today! It was so awesome; so many people came out which was a lovely surprise and the rain went away so we had blue skies as we took photos in the park. After I get the other girls photos, I will be posting about it.

til then,

xx.
