oh, hello ugly truck who is always in my photos… grrrr, your rude.

Today was such a killer day; there weren’t any clouds, all blue skies and a fall breeze. Although shorts aren’t always a fall necessity, I felt quite righteous in them today. Had to transition into flats for my outfit because I wear 4″-6″ heels on a daily basis and it’s wearing my feet down. These little Dolce Vita flats have been THROUGH IT…as you can see. Can you also notice the way these shorts give me quite a diaper effect? So rude, you shorts. Work has been fairly slow so I’ve kept busy with more shredding and more styling; need a laptop at work to keep even more busy with my blog, website and more. Anyone ready to donate to my “I’m broke, need a netbook, are you rich?” fund? :)

And I apologize guys about not showing you how I did my shredded tops. I had a few comments on my Chictopia about how I did it and how look it took. SORRY :)

Would you guys prefer a picture-to-picture how-to or just my words on how I did it? Which is easier to understand? Comment below! Reason I’m asking is because I definitely did not document how I did it. One thing I want to definitely point out is I obviously didn’t just come out of my butt about this idea. I got it from the designer, Raquel Allegra, so make sure you know she gets the credit!!

Also, I’m moving on November 1st and I couldn’t be more excited. I was supposed to have a dinner potluck for all the bay area bloggers interested in coming but unfortunately I’m going to have to postpone that. I need to organize my life before I throw some sort of fiesta. But don’t worry ladies, it’s still going to happen. I promise. Most likely it will happen the following Sunday so FYI. :)

I’m on a serious shred fetish. I can’t stop shredding. Alexia and I went to Urban Outfitters because of their huge sale, and I bought this top and shredded it in two hours! It’s made of viscose which can shred quite easily because of how fine the fabric is. It’s hard to tell but there is doilied edges on the top and back and so I left those there; it came out AMAZING! I am currently shredding two more tops in hopes to get all my shredding out…. |side glance| Although, it really is quite a stress reliever. Good thing because lately, things have been quite stressful, with all the moving, rearranging, money dwindling  away, no boots buying and more, I’ve become gray-haired….wrong, wrong, wrong.

Can we talk about how amazing the sky was behind me? Too bad there’s a really gross truck in them but hey, that’s what changing the levels is all about (photoshop). Today was also really, really cold…and speaking of today, I saw a “popular” blogger on the street today and felt like such a rere because I kept staring and luckily she didn’t see me…otherwise it would of been quite awkward. But has that ever happened to you? Have you seen a popular blogger and didn’t know if you should go up and say something? I was stuck in that dilemma today. Good thing I had a customer right then to save me from myself…lol.

Went to Cheeseboard after work; yum, yum, yum, delicious. And because I’m quite a “regular”, lol, they gave me FOUR slices for only $2.50 and usually you get about a slice 1/2 for $2.50. Yummmmm.

It was feta, garlic oil, cilantro, heirloom tomatoes, red onions. :)

please don’t mind those tomato pieces on my tongue but this picture captures the essence of hot RERE i am. :)

As you all know, I’m obsessed with Raquel Allegra‘s beautiful t-shirts created to look like works of art. I’m working on saving for one of her actual shirts she’s created but until then, I’ve decided to DIY my own. Jennie, from Going West, said it was easy, just watch TV to pass the time. It took me 7 hours to finish my first one and I love it. I went to Urban Outfitters today because they are having this huge extra 50% off all women’s sale and I scooped up some awesome tees for $5 to shred. I finished one tonight and I’m going to work on the other tomorrow. It’s now an obsession. :) Raquel, one day I will be able to afford one you’ve created…since mine are full of holes… |side glance| LOL.

I’m obsessed with this twirl photo. It reminds me of childhood; nothing is still. If you saw from my Chictopia page, I had mentioned what a Peets’ barista said to me the other day.

Finally, I’m posting about The Sartorialist; which was a bust sadly to say. Liz, from Late Afternoon and I decided that we were going to meet him despite the fact we were both sick that day. Prior plans were jilted and we had to wait in line for literally, an hour and a half to move no where. After it was settled that we wouldn’t be receiving any books, Liz and I decided Thai food sounded much more appetizing than waiting in line to have Mister Scott sign my planner ( I didn’t have the book…. |side glance| ). The Thai was amazing, cheap and filling; definitely another successful night talking to Liz about life and blogging.

this is where we last stood in line before we decided to grab a bite; by the way, this isn’t even that close to where the doors to Paul Smith were…

In other news, my brother who is a photography aficionado, has relayed to me that my camera I currently own which is a Canon PowerShot SD750, is perfectly fine and I don’t need to upgrade. He then, proceeded to show me how to use it… |side glance| and now, I’m proud to finally use my camera; I’ve owned it for two-ish years.

Also, Phillip from Hello Knight, graced me with photos he took at the Acrimony shop event Liz and I attended a few weeks ago. Don’t mind my crazy eyebrow…
